the big girl bed

it's that time. for her very first big girl bed. the bed that lets her get up on her own accord (gulp). though i want to print ruby her own bedspread, i don't have time before said bed is installed and used. i love the above ikea fabrics (the b+w ones i'd love to modify, like some colorful lanterns hanging off the banners...).



and then also i like the blankets below all found on etsy but would need to custom order them a little bigger. top to bottom: what a hoot chocolate minky blanket and orange crush yellow minky blanket by snug-a-bug blankets,chirp microplush blanket by boopalina & bebe and minky simba blanket from quiltish by alisa jacobs

we've had a tumultuous week immediately upon our return from maine... david was hospitalized. it was scary. but we're home now and everything now seems like it's on the mend... and i'm oh so thankful he's alive, and for our loving families and friends. it's been a very personal time, and thus all the pictures. more fun and flitty stuff to come. promise
