mobiles for the nursery

since the nursery is a neutral grey, there are so many possibilities for pops of color. we've decided to wait until we meet the little boy/girl before we integrate real color, but it can't hurt to poke around now...can you tell i'm still obsessed with pom poms?

top, clockwise from left: november- 7 piece party set poms by party poms, flower owls by bonsaii shop, 5 piece party set by party poms, bird mobile by pilosale

bottom, from top left:

oilcloth redux- part I (bold prints and colors)

i've been looking for an oilcloth for the kitchen table so ruby can do really messy projects there. disappointed by some of the usual gingham and/or hawaiian-inspired patterns, i came across some neat alternatives.

clockwise from top left: retro groovy shapes, kissanminttu red/blue by marimekko, hazy days, lisa by brita sweden, purple floral, katia

sources:
- harts fabric
- textile arts (marimekko)

birdlette limited edition prints

here are a few of the limited edition prints i'm working on. i like to leave breathing room for thought or talk bubbles or for landscapes the cars might be driving through. . .that way people can put their own touches on them. some images are from my kids tees, others are brand new. particularly fond of the paper airplane. in a month or so they, along with the kids tees and all sorts of other goodies, will be available on the birdlette website
